Yoneda Kasuko

As I am currently typing this, I am on the episode 10, season 1 of the X-Files. I've been binge watching this show non-stop for the past couple of days. Any of you guys a fan or seen all 10 seasons? Give me a couple of months, and I'll get back to you when I finish the series lol.

Anyway, I'm excited because I will be attending the Tropicalia Festival tomorrow in Long Beach! Bane's World, King Krule, Goldlink, Sango, and Kali Uchis are some of the few that I'm excited to see live. Any of you guys going?! ♡

Yoneda Kasuko top: vintage
Trousers: American Apparel
Boots: Zara ( similar )
Fanny Pack: The Squad

This outfit is obviously inspired by a modern day military look. The vintage top is by designer Yoneda Kasuko. I'm so obsessed with the crop style and extra long sleeves. I figured the best way to pair is with some classic American apparel high-waisted trousers and Zara booties. To accessorize, I have the classic chain going on and then The Squad leather fanny pack. Definitely one of my favorite outfit so far in the season.

Well, hello there to who ever is reading this. It is I, Alexis and I am still alive. It's been some time and with time that means there was plenty of changes. I don't even know where to start honestly. I'm currently reside in Los Angeles (still) and doing pretty well. I'm in my first apartment, got a new job, and still trying to figure out my life, lol. That's just a mini re-cap of what's happening with me, but there will definitely be more posting on this platform and of course my Instagram. ♡

Mock neck: H&M
Levi's shirt: Vintage
Levi's jeans: Vintage
Brighton Belt: Vintage
Boots: Zara ( similar )

Believe it or not, this outfit was inspired by that good 'ol 90's photo of The Rock. Oh yeah, you know which one I'm talking about. Just in case you're not sure, take a look here, lol. Anywho, it's finally getting a little chilly here in LA which only means one thing, it's mock neck season - nothing pumpkin spice here on this blog. Anyway, you're going to be seeing a lot of Canadian tuxedo this season because, why not?

Well looky here. Yup, it's me with another blogpost. I know I have said this before but I'm finally back in the groove where I can balance school, work, and blogging (even though I'm supposed to be studying right now). How's everyone's Fall going so far? Mine, it's completely miserable. I mean, what's Fall with 100 degrees weather in California. I know California is known as the sunshine state but to be honest, I'm ready for rain and statement jackets. What's the weather like at your city? Hopefully it's waay better than here.

Rule Them All Larait Choker: Nasty Gal
Belt: Buffalo Exchange
Shorts: Thrifted

So I'm going to be real, I took these photos like 3 months ago but never got a chance to upload them. I'm lying. I had plenty of time to upload them but I just rather be eating cereal and watching The Amazing World of Gumball all day. Anywho, I went crazy one week and bought this super cute plunging neck bodysuit from Nasty Gal ( it was on sale!). I love how simple it is and I don't have to worry about nip-slips. Of course I had to have tons of hardware accessories on so I paired the look with the Nasty Gal Rule Them All Larait Choker and Jeffrey Campbell's Temeku Boots. I guess you guys can tell what's my favorite brand of all time, huh? lol. ♡

Happy Fall friends! I hope everyone enjoyed their summer because now it's time to pull out those sweaters, jackets, and leggings. Sorry to my fellow Californians, I'm not sure if we're going to be seeing Fall anytime soon, but I'm definitely crossing my fingers! ♡
Boots: Topshop (Similar)
Choker/Belt: Buffalo Exchange

I was able to collaborate with one of my favorite clothing company Tobi and chose a couple of my favorites from their store! This is a rare sight because I never wore skirts but when I saw this super cute faux-leather skirt with the edgy zipper detailing, I had to have it! The cut is super cute and it doesn't bunch up in awkward spots that I don't want attention at. I also received this adorable denim jacket with shearling detailing. The sleeves were a little short so I decided to cuff them instead, but everything else fit perfectly! I can't wait to give it some more personality and patch it up! Make sure to check out Tobi! New customers get 50% off their first purchase!

Hi friends! It's hot and me no like it when it's hot. When it's hot and there's nothing to do, I tend to do very drastic things, like cutting my own hair. Yes, I got super brave and cut tons of inches of my hair, it was insane! That's probably going to be one of many crazy stories I'll have this summer, lol. Anything crazy happened to you recently? ♡

So I have been on a bodysuit rampage lately and on the same day I bought two white bodysuits from two different places. Why? I don't know but I'm definitely going to wear the hell out of them for this summer. The first bodysuit is the 2x2 Rib U Back Bodysuit from American Apparel. Believe it or not, it was only $38.00 (when I bought it there was 25% sale), which is really cheap from anything from the big AA. It's super comfortable and gives me a great sideboob if I'm feeling a little scandalous, lol. I paired it with my oh-so-amazing PYLOs bellbottoms and Topshop booties.  I went pretty light on the accessories and just wore an bandana and a sterling silver cross necklace. I also layered to belts over each other to just create a hint of edge since the hardware is so cool together! Are you just as excited about bodysuits like me? ♡
